Samina Ali graduated from the University of Leicester where she completed her MA in Mass Communication. She has also recently completed an MA in Islamic Studies at the Markfield Institution of Higher Education. Her current areas of research interest include the representation of Muslims in the media, the cultural and social consequences of these, and the establishment and development of Islam in a European context.
